About Your Job:
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven E-Commerce Officer to join our China team. Reporting to the Regional Direct Sales Manager, you will develop, manage and market qatarairways.com to maintain its position as a key direct sales channel for the airline, driving qualified traffic to the website in order to increase conversion rate and achieve targets for revenue and online penetration.
The successful candidate will take the lead in planning and implementing promotional campaigns, lead generation, developing partnerships as well as extensive reporting and analysis.
The ideal candidate has experience in a range of digital marketing channels including email marketing, display, affiliate marketing, search and social and is familiar with CMS and analytics software.
About You:
The successful candidate will have: Bachelors Degree or equivalent Strong job-related experienceB2C e-marketing experience / online travel retail experience a definite advantageWork experience in an online marketing agency or e-commerce/digital marketing department (travel industry preferred)Demonstrated experience and results in managing at least two of the following areas: Content Marketing, Search Engine Marketing, Email Marketing, Affiliate Programs, account management of online marketing partnerships, Display Advertising, Social MediaProven commercial skills including business analysis and metric skillsStrong numerical & analytical skills including accurate calculation of return on investmentExpert knowledge of working with MS office packagesFamiliarity with digital analytics programmes such as Omniture or Google Analytics highly desirablePersonal drive and high level of communication skills. Fluency in English to a management presentation level essentialAttention to detail and knowledge of best practice web designs (ad creative, online sales promotions, micro sites)Travel industry experience or prior airline experience a definite advantageExperience managing direct report(s)
